The Conference Secretariat has reserved accommodation for delegates at three city centre hotels all situated within walking distance of the Harrogate International Centre. Every effort will be made to provide rooms at the required rate. However, the supply of rooms at any particular rate is necessarily limited and room allocation will be made on a first-come, first-served basis. Rates quoted (in UK £ sterling) include breakfast and VAT at 17.5%. Prices are correct at time of printing.

Please note accommodation must be pre-booked and paid for in advance of the meeting and cannot be arranged on site by the Secretariat.

Recently fully refurbished and upgraded to four star rating, the hotel is ideally situated in the centre of the town and next to the Harrogate International Centre. The hotel has use of an adjacent car park at a charge of £5.00 per night.

The Majestic is a four star 19th Century property located in the centre of Harrogate within 5 minutes walk from the Harrogate International Centre. The Majestic has a main restaurant and bar as well as extensive leisure facilities including a swimming pool, spa, sauna, beauty salon, snooker room, outdoor tennis court and gym. The hotel offers guests car parking on site at a charge of £7.50 for 24 hrs.

Situated in five acres of private gardens, the Old Swan Hotel offers the traditional elegance of a country house hotel, right in the centre of Harrogate and five minutes walk from the conference centre. Recently refurbished the hotel has a main restaurant and bar and ample free parking.

The Secretariat has negotiated special rates with the official conference hotels and these rates were the best available to the Secretariat at the time of placing the booking. The Secretariat will not increase the rates listed in the conference announcement. Delegates are free to book accommodation directly through the internet, it is possible that a lower rate will be advertised. In many cases, only a small number of rooms are available at the reduced rate and, unfortunately, the Secretariat cannot match these lower rates offered by other agencies on the internet. The Secretariat will not be responsible for any bookings that are made through external organisations or directly with any hotel.

ACCOMMODATION PAYMENTS
Full payment for accommodation is required on booking and reservations will not be made without payment. Confirmation of your reservation will be sent on receipt of the Registration/Accommodation Booking Form or on receipt of an on-line accommodation booking.

CHANGES TO ACCOMMODATION
Subsequent changes to accommodation requirements should be directed to the Secretariat NOT the hotel.

ACCOMMODATION CANCELLATIONS AND REFUNDS
Refunds for cancelled accommodation will be given, minus an administration fee of £25.00, only if the Secretariat can resell the bedrooms and provided that written notice is received. Name substitutions will be permitted at any time.
